vallejo shade and highlights

Previoulsy I have read a write up of many of the Vallejo colours and their shade and highlight. I have spent the last 90 mins searching for it to no avail.
Can anyone remember where I would have seen this great resource?

What about the matches? If you take a look at the result information - you will understand what it is returning, and why it returns stuff as a matches.

The bottom number is the distance from the source color in CIE Lab colorspace. Anything over 5 is not a very close match - however when I was programming it, a lot of my testers said that they would rather have a few choices that weren\'t very close as opposed to no choices at all. As a result I placed the limit at 10 units. Now granted this returns several colors which are quite far off - but it also returns many which are close enough for a lot of people.

Anywho, they are what they are - tools.

I don\'t see the problem. Sure some of the colors are off; they aren\'t being represented as exact matches but as the closest thing between two lines. There is even a number that tells you how far off they are.

I agree, I would have more options that are farther from exact matches then have nothing match at all.
