i decided to give mmm a go for a change and did this one last evening.

thought i would try doing the tiles freehand instead of sculpting them.

I like the mini, the tophat is great.

I agree about the \'shiny-ness\'. I think the metal part on the crossbow may look better being darker, and less reflective.

I like the paintjob, I agree the silver is a bit to bright, nothing a nice wash won\'t dirty (uhh?)

the mini is from heresy miniatures.

i thought with the tiles i could get more of a slate look by hand painting them.

the silver has come out brighter on camera than i thought it would. it will be the metal medium i mixed in to the last higfhlight for the glare.

i still need to get my photo skills sorted as i feel this is letting me down

but still, thanks to all you guys on cmon i have improved more in the last few months than i have in years.
