Finally managed to get this monster finished, he was painted for a Wamp challenge. Got it from Amazon Warrior during ME22 I think it was. Why anyone would give an old Rackham mini up I don't know but I'm happy she did! She propably has two. So here it is, please feel free to comment and critic :)

I like the color choices and the clean paint. It really sets off the 'cold' feel well.

My only critique would be that some of the flesh has a 'plasticy' feel to it. I'm not sure how else to define that. But, whatever it is, it doesn't readily convince me that we are looking at flesh.

Still, all around good job. 8 from me.

The plastic feeling is the way it looks in real life too. It is the undercoat I think, it was applied to thick so the granular feel that I personally want from my undercoat kind of ended up looking and feeling plastic, which made it hard to blend. In JBT's dvd he mentiones that to many layers of paint in thin layers makes it looks like plastic. This combined with the thick plastic undercoat looks kind of, plasticy! One of reasons why I kind of rushed it.
But anyways, I learned the hard way but I learned at least :)
Thanks for the comment and vote:brushwave:
