Vegetables?

Hi,
Just wondering, for a project I\'m working on, what would the easiest model vegetables I could make. and how can they be made?

I\'m not really fussy what vegetables they are, just as long as they can be made to 28/30mm scale, can be grown in a vegetable patch, and they are suitable for a European (The Empire) climate.

Many thanks,
Sigmork

Just go to a shop and look in the grocery sectio n! :D lol

I imagine you could grow most vegetables in most climates with the right care.

As for modelling them for EMPIRE (Ye olde times)

You might wanna reference history.

For example, perhaps the empire town you\'re modelling has not yet heard of potatoes or pumpkins... :)

Thanks everyone I might try carrots, a little blob of GS with some leafy things poking out the top.

Carrots were purple? Thats freaky, but purple carrots for me then (Just hope they don\'t end up looking like carroty turnips:Dlol:D)

Thanks, for all your help,
Sigmork

Well I\'m not sure what you\'re asking for.

IF you want veggies like on a cart or market stand, then carrots are good.
If they are in the ground though, the recognizable bit wouldn\'t be seen.
Pumpkin patch is probably the easiest, or any other ground squash or eggplant.

As for historical accuracy, you didn\'t say this was a historical piece. You said Empire which implies fantasy and just as hobbits ate \"taters\" your fantasy garden can have whatever you want.

I would be wanting them in the ground, along rows in a field, I will probably still have carrots as they grown underground, they will be easy to model, as I am no good at GS, rather than pumpkins that grown on top of the ground, and would need detailed sculpting

You\'re mostly going to have low-lying vines then.
Most people don\'t know what the inedible part of a vegetable looks like so you could make stuff up.
Oh, and lettuce, lots of lettuce.
