Vehicle Weathering Workshop 2-July, Sacramento, California

On 2-July I will be doing ANOTHER of my one day "Masterclass Vehicle Weathering" workshops at Great Escape Games in Sacramento, CA from 11 AM - 5 PM.

The last class was so successful they're bringing me back right away - and we already have 7/20 signed up after the class was announced today.

This one day workshop will cover the so-called "masterclass" vehicle weathering techniques including:

Weathering pigments
Oil paints
Watercolor Pencils
Hairspray effects
Salt chipping
Airbrushing
Putty masking
Color Modulation
Quick detailing
Super detailing
... and much, MUCH more!

The cost for this workshop is only $10 but class size is limited to 20 people. You can sign up on by contacting Sirus at Great Escape Games at (916) 927-0810.

The workshop is mostly demonstration but you are encouraged to bring a model and try the materials on-hand during question and answer sessions.

You might not think there's enough material for 6 hours of workshop (with a lunch break) but I have enough material to fill at least two full days.

This workshop will use a GW Sentinel - as will all workshops going forward - so that I can more easily demonstrate masking -- and can add basing and decals to the demonstration.

Everyone is encouraged to bring a model, from any system, for Q&A and 1:1 help after the workshop.

I work at the shop and went to the class - wow! I was expecting 2, maybe 3 hours of material presented at a leisurely pace but we really did fill up all 6 hours and I feel there is more to have covered and we probably could've had a more extensive Q&A session afterwards. I took 6 pages of notes and I feel like all my tanks need to be stripped and redone now

I've been painting for years and the class touched on subjects I hadn't really explored before, and even techniques I had previously used like weathering pigments were presented so as to show new methods of applying and new effects that can be achieved with the same product. For the price, I would recommend this class to anyone that has an interest in painting. Thumbs up!
