Very Custom Heldrake.

I am new here as some one who contributes I have been a lurking around for a while. I joined CMON a while back, but due to school and work I never had time to get on. Then I got laid off and pretty much had to drop out, for now anyway. Rather then sitting around feeling bad about it I have been hitting the pavement looking for work and with the extra free time, and extra money from Christmas.(that I was told to spend on something fun). I got a Heldrake. Do you not love new kits?

Ok so I am building my own Heldrake from scratch. I have a lot of time on my hands.
I have been working on this for a while using another form site to ask for help on things. Here is the progression of my work.

PegaZus I plan on using at least another tube? .... tubes? and a half of green stuff at least. My local store carries the Gale Force 9 Green Stuff. It comes in two tubes.

Well now I need people to vote. I finished a tail do I keep it of chop it off and restart?

With the tail Try some P240 production paper to smooth the membrane out, then re green the spines and add texture

Well I did as you said wargamesculpter expect I used my Dremel and a sanding bit. I like it a lot more now.

Not really Mud Duck. I thought about that at first, as a way to do the body easily, but I liked how this turned out so much I am just going to leave it.

This time instead of showing you guys a bunch of scales. I am going to ask you to vote on a bunch of ... scales ... yeah. I will eventually get to the point where I paint this thing. That leads me to my question. Witch pattern should I use out of these three?

HAHA i like it ! Your army theme and color is great!. That is one eye popping defiler. I gotta hand it to you. Your doing a lot of scales, and that can take forever. I vote for the bottom snake pattern.

If you were painting another vehicle, I'd say go with the brown rather than one with red. But then, you're not doing another vehicle/unit. Hmm. Difficult.

I'm going to say the last one, because it'll have the stripe going down the spine.

Oddly enough KruleBear I am not. I find it kind of relaxing. Also...

good news every one... A friend of mine bought me some green stuff and told me to finish this guy, and I also found a temp job that will go a couple of months. Hopefully I can convince them to just hire me after that time.
