Yeah, if a llama moved in to your house you\'d never understand eachother. Different species, different hardwiring. Good question thought.
My local zoo tried to mix chimps and lemurs, same problem, their signals are so different that they could not get along very well. It was all very confusing to both.

Same as Steelcult over here. As sperm don\'t fulfill one of the major prerequisites of being \"alive\", i.e. multiplying (themselves), they could be merely regarded as an animal \"product\" Thus, the only ethical problem that might arise is if the girl was a vegan...
@ Shaz: I\'m not sure. I guess that sheep and cows growing up togeter might develop some similar behaviour (like cats and dogs), but in terms of \"moo\" and \"baa\"... I don\'t think so... On the other hand, birds of a given species are known to have \"dialects\" dependent of their home region, so, say, a nightingale from Germany wouldn\'t understand one from Russia... So maybe cows and sheep might develop some \"common denominators\" in \"language\"???

If someone decides to be vegetarian, it is usually done because they think animals are suffering and therefore should not be eaten. So vegetarians usually do not eat meat to not cause suffering.
Now you decide if oral sex qualifies as suffering

My thoughts, I don\'t think that swollowing is so much a matter of vegetarian, but of Cannibalism! She is after all dining on part of another human :|~
Of course then the question begs, is the son possitive she swollows, after all just because she performs oral sex does not mean she Must swollow, she could spit! lol

As are a lot of flowers that can\'t reproduce. I think bilogicaly it\'d be considered alive. And I think philosophicaly they wouldn\'t

Boy, I leave for a few hours and Here you all are having a good spirited debate about my question. I\'m glad no one took offence, I really was wondering about it from a purely philosophical point of veiw.

My wife\'s aunt, who is a former hippy and vegetarian, said that the fact that sperm is from a human a vegetarian should have no problem, they just won\'t touch animal meat.

If men and women are in the same house together for long enough, do they learn to understand what the other side are saying?
We have all been working under the assumption that creatures of a like species can communicate with each other.
So, new question; are men and women actually different species?

The problem is you assume Cows and Sheep already speak different languages. I would say they communicate perfectly well but in different dialects. We talk mostly but also use body language. Ungulants on the other hand use smell a lot more. I bet a cow can tell if a sheep is afraid, horny, content etc. and I\'m sure in a short amount of time they would recognize the behavior and possibly the vocalizations that go with them.
I have little experience with sheep, but cattle are at least as \"smart\" as dogs.
Believe it or not, a university once built a maze like they use for rats to the size for cows. The cows meandered through randomly first time and every single cow tested made the maze perfectly with no hesitation or wrong turn the second time through.

The vegitarian/vegan thing works to a point, but you have to decide based on the motivation. If someone is a vegan because she doesn\'t think we should exploit animals, then she should have no problem swallowing because there is no exploitation going on (assuming consent).
If the vegetarian is so because she thinks no animal should be killed for us, then again swallowing is ok.
If the vegitarian is so because she thinks animal-based protein is unhealthy, then she shouldn\'t swallow.
The medical definition of vegetarianism is subsisting on a diet of vegetables, grains, fruits, nuts and seeds. By that definition a vegetarian can swallow, provided she\'s not doing it to supplement her diet - not subsisting on it.
