the idea for the vespids was cool, often first models of a new idea aren\'t as good as they could have been.
i reckon gw will do a realy sweet job when they eventualy redo them.
the photo is a little too small to get a good look at your painting.
from what i can see it looks smooth but the contrast needs tweeking.
take the shadows a little further and then take the highlights a little further.
biggest tip i ever heard (it was from an eavy metal painter but i can\'t remember which one!) is that most people over work the mid tones which is why they struggle with contrast.
by taking your shadows and highlights a little further than what looks right (when you have been working on a model for a while you are so used to seeing it close up you forget about the exagerated contrast that is needed) you garauntee the contrast (often refered to as pop!) that is needed.
it\'s the same as dropping the mid light range in photoshop, it just helps it stand out a bit more.
