Are you entering the competition VLRM? I\'m not sure yet, I bought the mini coz it\'s real nice...but the competition may inspire to make a much better job... who knows! :bouncy:

I\'d like to. The deadline is certainly far away, but I know myself... My Vic #7 arrived too late to even be on the showcase, and my Zeïren is still to be finished. It\'s been a typical case of the Real Life (TM) disease, which I\'ve been suffering for the last year, compounded by my suffering from the SIPSWH syndrome (Severe Inability to Properly Schedule Work and Hobbies)...

I will try to enter, however. I have in mind a nice vignette/diorama combining him with another mini... ;) I\'ll have to give it a couple more turns in my head. But I\'m going to be d@mn busy at least for the next two months, and I REALLY wanted to paint my Wolfens... sigh...

I\'m in the UK. I guess US and Canada will get theirs in a few days. The parts fit well and there\'s little in the way of mould lines etc... on both ... :p

I got mine yesterday! It\'s pretty cool. The legs are separate from the torso, but the coat tails are part of the later. I spent around six hours on it already :D

So far I\'m pretty pleased with it and I may post some WIP shots at some point.

It\'s a mini for a painting competition here -

Check with Dominic before you post any WIP shots. One rule of the ViC is that no \'finished\' pics are supposed to be posted anywhere outside of Dom\'s site until the showcase is complete. I don\'t know if that would apply to WiP shots or not. In the past most folks guarded their WiP/Vision of the model like a family secret so they could get the WOW factor when it was finished. :)

Course, you can take this with a grain of salt if you want, since I\'m not following basically the same rule in the Reaper contest. ;)

That\'s a fantastic mini, but I can\'t stand that dredel on his head. Does it have significance in some story line, or does it just let him spin around really fast if he falls off a roof and lands upside down?

Umm, it\'s a piece of flash. Dead lead, lop it off.

Heh. That\'s likely - I never thought of that. Never seen flash left on this type of greenstuff model before, but it makes more sense than spinning him around and waiting for candy to fall out.

Help for the ailing

If anyone should be struck severly with RL (Real Life) and find they have too many of this figure, please drop me a note, I\'d love to have one for my own personal collection and would gladly pay you for one.

It\'s not really flash. It\'s the sprue via which the metal flows into the mold, analogous to the tab to which a model\'s feet are normally attached.

Cheers Beelzebrush. I now have one on the way, after a lot of negotiating and begging(it did cost) but it was worth it.;)
