Heya! I've completed my vicar! I'm pretty pleased with him, all in all i think it went pretty well, though a pain to photograph, might need to take new ones, but that have to wait a bit!

It looks pretty good to me but I'd love to see some closer shots!

To be really nitpicky the sides of the base look like they need cleaning or re-painting black or something, especially in the top two shots. I find it quite distracting from the piece.

Love the colour palette you've used.

I dont like the spots on the animals tail, otherwise i think it is well done.

Hi Crayfish, I really like the way the Vicar came out, that's a mini I may have glanced past before you showed it off properly!

I confess to not really liking the base, sorry, it's not up to the standard of the mini painting. Looks as though you got the chance to experiment with various effects though & all practice is good.

I like it a shame that there are no closer shots though, I think the base is ok too what I like in particualr are the dirbbles of gore from the mouth of the beast.

Yes, the base is kinda rough, but i think it works, the black should probably be touched up a bit.

Base building is not my strong side, but im hoping to improve it more and more.

@Freak: Thanks, yes its bark... really like how it looks when you build it up, much nicer and natural than cork looks.

I have to admit that taking pictures of this guy was a copious amount of pain! But hopefully I will be able to retake better pictures, but I've got more important things to do right now... Hopefully making some better standard miniatures!

Those are some silly swords the guy has. But the colors on the beast are cool. It really stands out, great job on those annoying colors to paint.

well i cannot really see what the beasts head look like honestly, i think they seems really good painted and cool, but the photos as said are not the best (taking photos of single minis is hard enough...). and perhaps try another background.
