my first mini of 2005


i know crazy innit? this is the first mini i\'ve done in 2005. stupid professors. :flip:


so uh. yeah i guess im asking for comments and votes please...yeah.

oooohh, nice personality on this one! I really like your use of mid-tones throughout the mini, it gives it a nice feel that fits the sculpt.

The skin looks like it could use a bit of smoothing.

I like it.
Try to edgeline, its using the flat of the brush gently over the raised areas, a little like drybrushing, but smoother and more controlled and with normal consistency (ie slightly thinned) paint.

Also, MORE HIGHLIGHTS! Take those highlights further, I promise it will look ok

I think you improve with every mini.

Seriously though I liked the look of it. Voted and gave it an 8. The one thing that I have noticed is that you get better with every mini.

You are definitely improving in leaps and bounds!

One observation - try photographing on a lighter coloured background. It\'ll do wonders for the colours on your minis.
