VIP/VIC/TEP vision projects

Hi,

quick update on VIC 10 just in case you\'re wondering. The figure is being sculpted but at this moment Dominic has no time for organising the VIC as he\'s working on his thesis. When that\'s done he\'ll deal with the production and logistics and get VIC going. So, have some patience, VIC is still alive.

In the meantime, the VIP 8 gallery is online and open for comments. There are still a couple of figures missing though.

Coolies! Theres some great entries there and I\'m looking forwards to seeing the cast set as well.. If anyone is interested, my first foray into the world of greenstuff sculpting is in the VIP8 gallery (the killer piggy!). All comments gratefully received. :D

VIP 9

Hi,

VIP 9 has just started. The subject is science fiction and I\'ll be making Avicenna as a space pirate. :)
The group is here: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/1listSculpting/ , deadline is may 1st, 2005 and there is a casting option.

Figurines_fr has just started their TEP showcase (Tout En Pâte). The subject is \"the great blue\" (everything that has to do with the sea) and the deadline is 15-06-2005. Showcase. The group can be found here: http://fr.groups.yahoo.com/group/Figurines_fr and photos of past TEPs (well worth seeing) can be found in the photo section over there.

Bye, Ming-Hua

TEP is \"all in putty\" in English and it\'s a similar project to \"visions in putty\". Main differences are taht there is no casting option and that at the end people got to vote of what is best. It\'s like the sculpting \"competitions\" of the creafigs forum.

I think the killer pig is excellent, especially considering it is \'your first foray\' as you say. Good work.

I\'ve always been a big fan of the VIP and the VIC projects. It is very fun to see peoples creativity come out.
