VMC Transparent Yellow as a wash

I was wondering what you think of using VMC Transparent Yellow as a wash over GW Fiery Orange that have had a drybrush of white over it? Looking for a quick way to do yellow Eldars you see

VMC transparent colours are STRONG.
Use sparingly or it can all go horribly wrong.

STRONG as in good coverage or strong yellow color or just dangerous ? If any of you have read the how to paint citadel miniatures book, there is an example there on how to use yellow ink over fiery orange that has been drybrushed with white, makes the highest points on the armour seem bright yellow and the deepest points seem darker. I want that effect, can VMC transparent yellow do this or something similar?

I think Mike means heavy in pigment, i.e. very saturated colours.
