voting

So whats the deal no one wants to post their votes anymore, are we so busy in the forums section that we have forgotten a major part of cmon. I only ask because here recently I have been noticing people asking why no one is voting on their minis. Some of these claim that their post have been up a month or longer.DD:innocent:

There is the voting head and the forum head. Some do one others do both. In fact, some forum goers have voted on every single mini psted...how about that?

I presume your post is prompted by a lack of votes on your own minis? Well, the best solution is to look at who is currently active on the site and then go and vote and comment on some of their minis and I am sure you will be flooded with responses.

If you slag them off however...don\'t expect glowing praise in return...:bouncy:

I have been voting for about an hour today. Although I have only been voting on Reaper mini\'s, as I got sick of seeing Space Marines every third mini.

Thanks for the insight on the posting thing . However I am one of those who does both and try to vote on all I see.Dont much care about the votes the comments are what I need the most to improve my tecniques. Dont get me wrong I love to see my minis numbers go up makes me feel all warm and gooey inside.DDlol

You are not alone.

Most people value comments the most, and the best way to get comments is to leave them yourself. Make sure that who you are commenting on is active though, as there is little to be gained IMO on leaving comments on someone\'s minis who hasn\'t visited the site for two years...:flip:

Make sure you vote as well.

The score you leave in a comment doesn\'t actually get registered...you have to vote separately. Not a lot of people seem to know that...

I think the chat room has also grabbed alot of attention. I try to vote whilst Im in the forums (Voted on 20 minis this morning already)

There is something wrong with the vote tracking tho. It says Ive voted on 12000 when Im sure I have only voted on 6000

You can always go in the submissions category and ask for votes. Usually gets a good start too.

Yeah....

It is said however, that using the ShoutBox attracts snipers. You will have to judge for yourself on that one if you use it as an option however...

Yeah I noticed that as well I think it might be doubling our voes for some reason. It says I have voted on 31829 and I think I have voted on only 15914 images.
