Yes I am obsessed with Wolves, but I have also been a great admirer of the SALAMANDERS. (I have a Termie Commander in my gallery ,but its only a wee one.)

However I noticed the new Marine Codex has a Salamander Character called Vulkan Hestan. All the rumour mills give his SPECS but not a single pic. Surely with the Codex floating around at Nottingham already someone must have a sneaky pic they could share with us . ;) :cool: :D.
I am just bursting to see the illustration ,and being 48 years old with the attitude of a 8 year old ,I dont want to wait If I dont have too ! :flip:
I have already decided to do a model of him next (75mm ).
Any sneaky types got a pic out there !

I haven\'t seen a pic, either. Sakamanders may end up being my chapter of choice, or maybe White Scars or one of my own making, although that was with the current codex and the traits.

Also ,its been official for a while,Salamanders are Black mit Red eyes !

Anybody got any photos for referance of Cool & Craggy black dudes.?
The biggest problem I am having is all the major black stars are too gorgeous for their own good, especially there skin ,.. (\"Black dont Crack\"):cool:
I know Nick Kyme is doing a book on SALS for B.L. and I have seen the cover sketch on Bolter & Chainsword. :D

Having read the preview of Kyme\'s Black Reach book, i can say that it probarbly will not live up to your expectations. The bit i read was full of spelling mistakes, very porely written and full of rubbish discription. I mean, the third word in the whole thing had a typo in it, i didnt get past the first paragraph.


I do love the salamanders though and look forward to your 75mm rendition though Adie =)

hmm, Samuel L. Jackson is cool, and not too good looking, at least in some films, such as Triple X, as e has a big burn scar in that.

unfortunately, i didn\'t get to snap a pic when i was lookin\' through the codex last weekend...the new sally character is not what i expected...his weapon looks almost like a nemesis halberd from the grey knights...

phil said that all the characters in the book would get models EVENTUALLY...
bollocks...

as for the studio sally scheme, the flesh is now black, as in chaos black, not a black man(who are actually brown)...kinda silly if ya ask me, and i\'m a huge sally fan...they are right up there after the wolves in my faves, so i know how ya feel vincenti....the red eyes are cool, but the white hair is silly...no sallies with hair for me...it would have all been burnt off in the forges anyway...

the new codex is cool as hell, and huge...
as a guy who doesn\'t play, but loves the art and fluff, i was very happy with the amount of new art and minis...

i look forward to the new sally novel too...
we\'ll see if it\'s worth the read...
