I\'m here in the hospital during this hot summer afternoon, i have to stay here \'til 8 pm (4 more hours to go) and i have nothing to do: no patient to bring to operating room, no consulences, asolutely nothing...

i\'d like to have my minis here, so i\'d do something useful!

Generally we are not bored, quite exhausted too but today is friday so less to do...

But NOW I\'m entering Operating Room for an arthroscopy...

From dictionary: Examination of the interior of a joint, such as the knee, using a type of endoscope that is inserted into the joint through a small incision.

It\'s pretty cool - my dad just had it done. They ended up doing the actual repair surgery through the same two incisions.

well i\'m an orthopedic so my work concerns broken bones, dislocated joints and so on: i prefer to consider myself one who tries to make things going better, not the bad news bringer

an arthroscopy is a \"look in the joint\" without opening the skin over it: we use some optycal instruments that look like small tubes to look into the joint; we can also put some instruments in to cut, shave or catch. So, instead of having a big unesthetic cut, the patient only gets 3 small holes. :idea:

at least if I have some injury I can be repaired by a fellow painter and talk about miniatures with him
