Walk of the Dead?

What's the official word on how to use these cards. Are they added to the deck, substitute for cards in the deck, or used as a stand-alone deck?

I've kept them seperate and use them as a stand alone deck. Haven't heard an official word on it though. Way I figure it, they didn't add new cards for runners, fatties, or abominations so for general play I'll end up burning through walkers quick if I added them in. Then the walkers would run out and would start getting tons of extra turns. I have used the deck though in a couple games, I have to admit it was a bit rougher than I thought it would. Three of the four survivors died, the last one managed to get the last objective right as the walkers ran out (right before the zombies would have gotten three draws with no walkers left and a massive horde a room away).

I came here looking for the same answer. Thanks for the thoughts Raijen. My guess is it's supposed to be a stand-alone "barrage of walkers" but I'd love to hear officially, and if possibly adding to the standard deck was planned.

I can't be a**ed to look into the comments, but I'm pretty sure I saw CMON saying that the deck was intended to be stand alone and with just walkers, for a Romero-esque scenario that has yet to be released. The back of the cards are of different color, right? If yes, that's another proof in my book.

I play with them shuffled in. Maybe I should try a few rounds without them and see how it feels. (Might make it so we don't get horribly horribly killed by walker bonus movements due to running out of walker minis... again... *shudder*)

The backs are the same color, but here are the numbers for the "Walk of the Dead" cards: #43-54.
I have yet to add mine into the mix as of yet.

Is it part of the Abomination that arrived?
(All I've received thus far are the three Games I ordered for myself and two friends, my GITD Dice and my extra set of tiles. Per Chern, the Abomination Packs were in a separate shipment)

The official word is that they can either be added to the deck, or used as a seperate deck for a true "Romero" experience.
