Attention all competitors! WaMP and Wyrd have combined forces to bring you an all new painting competition!

The Judge is deamonhearold and the more people who join the contest the bigger the prizes will be so go sign up now!

We\'ve had a rash of spammers over on WaMP so we\'ve tightened up the sign-up requirements a bit but if you have any issues with Darklord frisking you at the door PM me and I\'ll get him to back off.

There will be many more in the future, possibly sponsered by other mini companies if I understand things correctly (he\'s already got 3 set and a possible 4th in the works). So go join the forum and then when we have one you CAN do you\'ll be set.

Don\'t forget we also run a monthly comp. Prizes aren\'t anything much but it\'s open judging so if you want some real critique of your painting and tips to improve enter that. The rules for those are REALLY lax and painting styles range from 4-5 ish table top to slayer sword winners (nigel if he ever gets his bum back there to do another comp, the coward. I kicked his butt the last time he entered).

Plus we have a leader board with paint offs and you can challenge people on that. Lots of comps over there. Good to keep you painting.

I think the prizes ARE Wyrd minis. Not sure I\'ll be able to enter this one as I\'m going to be out of the country for 3 weeks March-April but we\'ll see.

Oh, and it USED to be 90% UK and me but the Canadaians are taking over. The rest of us need HELP! lol

I\'m soo tired. For a minute there I thought I\'d seriously offended someone:redface: lol

Liz - you\'re tempting me, but argh! I have to sort out the monthly painting challenges for our painting group (and it would look bad if I didn\'t enter as one of the people that runs the group!)
Wangle me a few extra hours in the day - or remove my need to sleep and I\'m in :)

(It already takes me two hours to respond to all my emails and posts on various forums every evening, can I really fit another site in - or does this mean I something needs to get dropped?) ???

I am holding for the next CMON contest, I like the idea of the limited miniatures and helping the site with a purchase.

Anyway I have been working on two minis and after weeks still can not get them done. I have not a chance on an actual due date!

Boristfrog, I understand how you feel. I\'m in too deep all the time too. There will be more comps and I\'m glad you registered. PM me who you are so I can light a fire under DL to approve you.

I don\'t want to speak for EldinZTux or Darklord..... wait a minute, sure I do!

I think the issue was with a few actual people getting on the site and messing stuff up, not just bots, so there\'s the whole rigamarole now. But it\'s a fun place, and Brett/Darklord has really gone the extra mile giving us some cool competitions with some prizes even!

yeah it was one idiot we think, so apologies for the draconian measures but its better in the long run!
just to update you all, after the Wyrd event we will have competitions sponsored by others, including Avatars of war, fatal personality, westwind, and ultraforge all with some great prizes
