I finally got some shots together of the cannon. there is still work to be done but I know it will be a while before I can get to it, I just could not wait.

Ps. I did the suggestions you all had for the bust of the Sean guy (eyes and green wash for the uniform) and will post as soon as I can get shots of him the improvement. Made a big difference, Thanks to you peeps. :kiss:

I really like it. The overhead shot is particularly cool. Just one thing though, the bases of the minis dont look properly recessed into the main base, which is messing with the effect slightly.

All in all pretty stunning though. Nice one!

Thanks to all for the comments and well wishes and perverted thoughts.

I am beaming.

Here is a shot of the base empty so you can see it is indeed painted shadows, I never thought to put it there but should have.

I agree next time I should use a thicker cork for the base, this was gasket maker material that was hanging around in the garage.

Amazing, Tracy! Great light-sourcing and the shadows are right on! I\'d love to see this is person. Sorry if you\'ve already talked about this in another thread somewhere, but are you going to enter it in a competition? :)
