War Griffon's done a bit of painting...

[War Griffon]

Well after a busy period of work I have had a productive couple of weeks and managed to finish a few pieces, in some aspects I am better than I was before but in others I seem to have lost the touch.

Roman Legionaire: Painted this up for the Warlord Comp on Wamp, it was a figure given away by Warlord Games when they launched about two years ago, I didn't want to buy 15 transfers just to use one of them for the shield so the shield is free hand.

Lord Nurglich: Parts of this I enjoyed doing and parts I didn't in the end I am just glad to get him out of the way and completed, the fluff describes him as a huge blowted and rotting rat that rides around on a giant rat in a similar condition, didn't exactly turn out how I wanted but guess he will do

The Skaven lord's is very nice, just agree with mick that you could make him look more skaven.

Also agree on the clean look. Always have said each to their own though.
Good to see you back in the saddle WG! Just need to find the right sized footstool so I can jump back up, being the lazy bastard I am =P (Ok, maybe not lazy, just lacking in inspiration)

Very clean and crisp paintjob, the kind of stuff I love and the way I like to paint myself I disagree with the others, he doesn't have to be more skaven. From these two minis it's clearly your style. If you'd get photos without dept they'd look like drwaings from a comic. I love it

I like the Skaven, I can see how he could be pushed further but if you'd lost enthusiasm, then congrats on getting him done! Good stuff :good:
