Warcasters and armageddon heros

Ok Im not much of a blogger, but im truly intrigued by the cmon one...now at this time i have been mulling over my miniature collection....i LOVE MINI'S, BUT i have so many and nearly all of them are unpainted.I never ever have a chance to play the games associated with them and in truth i only got into the hobby to paint the suckers. Now adays im also on a tight budget and i almost never get to buy some of the new fascinating ones that are coming out now so its time to bid farewell to these little metal piles . Ok now on to the 4 figures im going to paint...ive started with two warcasters  High Allegiant Amon Ad-Raza ,The Butcher Of Khador and two 40 k figs Ghazkull and Commisar Yarrick.  Assing another twist would be me using black primer on my figs which in the past ive tried with horrible results....so far im pleased...<img width="500" height="510" border="0" align="middle" src="http://blog.coolminiornot.com/image.php?id=91357420" alt="DSCN4273.JPG" title="DSCN4273.JPG" />  Raza here just has some drybrusing to bring out detail.<img width="500" height="552" border="0" src="http://blog.coolminiornot.com/image.php?id=70265932" alt="DSCN4274.JPG" title="DSCN4274.JPG" /> Yarricks face is almost done id like to add more highlights and color to the old man mug.<img width="500" height="682" border="0" src="http://blog.coolminiornot.com/image.php?id=43981324" alt="DSCN4275.JPG" title="DSCN4275.JPG" /> ok a good number of the work here is done..but i need to higlight the reds more...the face is great i think expressive with the eyes looking at someing and not into space.<img width="500" height="633" border="0" src="http://blog.coolminiornot.com/image.php?id=62517439" alt="DSCN4276.JPG" title="DSCN4276.JPG" />oK ghazkull is doing incredibly well ive never had such good ork skin transition until now..using vallejo ref green and khaki for the effect.well when ive done some more ill post more pics.
