Warhammer 40.000: Space Marine

Hi all

Hopefully I\'m not the only one here thats into console gaming, this game is probably what I\'m looking most forward to!

yes it is a kick butt game i saw anouther trailer about it where they actually walked you thru the game and showed how it plays.
i think its on you tube.the only problem i have with it is that you are a one man crew.
space marines dont roll like that.other then that i will buy a xbox just to play the darn thinglol

The gameplay you\'ve seen is very early, even though nothing has been confirmed by Relic many believe that in the finished game there will be a group of 4 space marines fighting together (there were 4 marines in the trailer), even so I agree, would have been better with huge battles with 50-100 space marine (a whole company). I don\'t really care I\'m on sold on Relic as they make really good games!

The earlier trailer looked better imho. Hopefully they wont fuck this up and it\'ll do justice.

Fingers crossed they put in a good mixture of gameplay, some army of two/gears of war/resi5 team play mixed with some metal gear style stealth and some good close combat style

There space marines, I don\'t think there is going to be a lot of stealth in the game.

I think the newest trailer is better, better graphics, what gameplay you get to see looks a lot better than the gameplay in the first gameplay trailer they released.

They should try and incorporate stealth into it still just for variety, a space marine knows when is best to fight and not too, so i think some areas of the game they should make it worth your while not to go straight into it and kill.

Does anyone know if there has been anything said further about possible release dates etc?

I meant i preferred the first because of enemies and style of gameplay, the first trailer was against cultists and CSM and the SM was on his lonesome and this one is against greenskins with a four squad. Adding a squad element makes it difficult as it comes down to the game AI. Hopefully progress of this we see will be positive

Just reading on shacknews and relic have said that the early footage was done by a different studio and not relic, that is why the second trailer seen is more in the DOW style but relic have said it will be a single SM that is controlled but with the idea of some sort of multiplayer

Thats the old game and everything you saw there is not going in the finished game At least they didn\'t mention anything about a killing blow angel in the newest trailer

Didn\'t check the links but if it if the new game from E3, I already don\'t care much for it.

Yeah, it looks nice, but the gameplay shown and all that crap with the moves and killing methods is more than I want out of a game.

Meh it looks ok but it will turn out to be another shooter you complete after a few hours of game play.

Now games to really look forward to would be new halo and assassins creed 2, this looks totally awesome and an improvement on the first one.

Yeah I saw the trailer and \'Walk and talk\' docu.
Thing that grates me is this; The bolter stuns your enemies so you can do badass finishers with your chainsword...

Sorry man, if someone shot a huge explosive bit of metal at me i\'d be a little more than stunned. I\'d be fuc*ked!

The usual gaming alternative is idiotic \"friendly\" AI that makes your teammates run in circles between you and the enemy, get stuck on ledges, and totally pooch mission objectives. Do Space Marines roll like that?
