Plus MMO\'s are extremely unproductive in real life... unless you make an awesome character and then sell it on ebay for tons of money and keep doing that.

So, therefore, recreation in itself is \"unproductive.\"

I think recreation is very productive. What I meant by saying that MMO\'s were not very productive is that they have no real life value. And yes, as you pointed out, this can be said about many hobbies and pass times.

Dear god! This thread reads like a dirge now lol Lock it down before we all become emo and start shuffling about mumbling things like; \"what\'s the point\" with the tears stotting off our boots!

If you are going to pay $50 for an MMO then it should work properly at launch. When star wars galaxies came out I never had issues with it crashing.

I\'m guessing you didn\'t buy it on release day then, because SWG was a constant crashfest for the first 24 hours or so. lol

I did the free trial of WAR a couple weeks ago. I was not impressed. It had some moments of cleverness, but overall, it is a typical grindfest, loaded with \"Go kill a dozen rats\" quests.

There are some interesting aspects like the public quests, but overall... Meh.

About a week ago a CMON user Atacam sent me an introduce a friend offer code for it and I thought I\'d give it a try. (Thanks Atacam!)

Think you have me confused with someone else there Baz. I hate pay to play online games with every fiber of my being. They are a RIP OFF. I play Guild Wars, great game and its FREE to play on line once you have bought it.
