Warhammer RPG?

I was wondering if anyone has played the Warhammer RPG?
and what you think of it.

Nope, but I hear good things! YOu could always dl the beta, I think thats in the process just now...

Well I would assume you mean Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay. If that\'s the case the website is here and although I have the book for the game I haven\'t played it. Used to play the old version a lot, and it was pretty cool, if a little lacking in certain areas of the rules. The new one seems much more balanced.

If you are talking about WAR, the MMORPG, all the buzz is good. Website is here.

You\'d need to register and be accepted to join the beta I do believe, and they aren\'t really fun anyway. Wait for the proper release, otherwise you will just be on bug finding duty.

There are a few threads about WHFRP there.

I have to say the new edition is pretty excellent, the only thing lacking from the old edition is some Humor, but the new support and rules more then make up for it.

FYI: the 40K Rpg comes out this year as well.

One of my top 3 RPG systems. But if you\'re expecting to start off with a level 1 equivalent hero, you\'ll be sadly disappointed. It\'s a balanced game, characters are not tanks and they die if played without a severe sense of self-preservation.

It\'s from www.blackindustries.com a GW subsidiary.

It used to be put out by Hogshead Publishing and you can find lots of info on websites like Strike to Stun and Warhammer.net, just google for WHFRP
