There\'s few things we could have done without seeing, but fortunately most of them have occurred in the Freak Bar.:redface:

Well thats the thing why board games still exist: social interaction.

You can get that in a PC game...of course you can link via TS2/voice program, but its not the same as sitting with your friend on the table, talking, playing, eating food, having fun and simply \"pause\" the game whenever you want. Thats what a PC Game could never do.
I love Dawn of War though :)

But I played some new kind of PS3 game at a friend where you put cards on a map and a camera reads them and makes models on your TV...rules where like the TCG Magic.
Sorry, I forgot name of the game. It was real fun.
Guess there will be more Digital-Analog Games in future and I really like the idea of that.

Are you trying to talk us out of collecting miniatures, thereby saving them all for you???

Sorry, mr. Inacage, your diabolical plot is foiled!

Don\'t let GW see this. They\'ll sell it as a ltd. ed. for $40k and the force you to buy software upgrades and patches for all your army books and rules. This could be way more lucrative than miniatures.

It\'s a pretty impressive multi-touch demo. \'Specially given their turn around time. From the teaser it doesn\'t look like there\'s a way to use multiple units, guess ranges, use terrain/cover, etc. Still though, it really showcases the possibilities of the technology.

I guess I may be showing my age, but I\'d be hard pressed to give up my dice, tape measures, and clipboards. And, of course, one has to wonder about the effect of spilled coffee and beer on that snazzy table-gizmo. ;-)

yay one step closer to the holographic chess in star wars.........it does kind of make you think though will newer technology be used in this industry down the line or will it remain as it pretty much has since it\'s conception and the advances alwaysbe about making the minis prettier... ( or not in the case of market leading companies)

Future: a 3D holographic tech table and no minis, but simple cards with chips inside....*IIIIeeeeeekkkkk* *runs of crying*

But perhaps we can paint the minis digital with software on PC?

The Eye of Judgement. A friend got the ps3 basically for this game. Loves it to no end.
