Well, aynway, my point is that the guy deserves a second chance. Why warn and ban him in pretty much the same post? This is the reason why CMON has such a bad reputation (yes, undeserved since such occurences are exceedingly rare, but it\'s there nonetheless).
Also, yeah, it\'s Chern An\'s site and he may do as he pleases. If it pleases him he may ban every last one of us. That does not mean I have to agree with everything he does and I always thought everyone here was open to reasonable discussion.

Once again I say let Warhub have one account, warn him about his actions (I think he got that one already) and if he missteps again, ban him till his head spins. And if he behaves maybe he\'ll become a helpful and nice member.

He hadnt made any posts asking for stuff, explaining his actions, he didnt post onece he had pmed everyone with a pic, why bother giving him a chance to explain himself?

Gota agree with Mosch on that one. But I always tend to be optimistic about people\'s intentions

6000 private messages trying to scrounge material for your own site is not a minor thing like attacking people on forum in a hurtful manner.

If you want to try crap like that expect a ban really.

If you mean \"giving up\" as in transferring then you\'re not giving up your copyright, you are licensing cmon to use your pictures and articles in publications etc. That licence is non-exclusive.

The reason they were banned was because of the automated spamming that Chern discovered after his first post, ie. they didn\'t handwrite over 6000 PM\'s and it wasn\'t to a selected number as they themselves stated. There are several warning-bells sounding off in all of this to me, but sure, maybe they were only clumsy? You have every right to disagree, but in this case I don\'t agree with you. I think Chern made a good call this time, I would probably have done the same.

Well, that\'s the thing, isn\'t it? How could he ever explain himself? He\'s banned! And what really gets me is the fact that he was warned first and then banned with 12 minutes in between. How could he ever react? Well, he even apologized and explained before the warning, so what makes you think he\'s unreasonable? He far overshot his target, that\'s for sure, but come on... a firm notice should be enough for a first offense.

After digging a little deeper I discovered 6000 PMs sent to all members who are ranked within a very short period of time. Spamming 10 people may result in a warning; spamming all our artists is just taking the piss.

An aggravating factor is that Warhub came on to say he only sent the PM to a \"select few\" (both words are outrageous understatements) just means he thinks I\'m a total idiot. This thread is now locked.
