This guy ended up being a bit of a speed model- I was only able to put about 8-9 hours into him for a comp over at WAMP. I've been watching the Miniature Mentor Complete Guide, so I tried a number of new techniques on this guy that helped him turn out pretty good.
I cut away the original base and sculpted the Roman Road that he's now standing on using GS on an old Rackham 1" base. He's a bit shiny because I didn't have time to varnish before the pics were due for the contest.
