Well Stump the whole concept is a \"What if magic exsisted along with steam technology\"

The main fighting forces of the game are huge steam powered magical suits of armour (Golems anyone?)

the mini\'s themselves are pretty good and you can see some really amazing paint jobs if you look up Fluffy\'s
work on CMON.

Very nice. But I am drawn to the Cryx. I don\'t have any of the minis. Not yet anyway. lol

Personally a Khador kinda guy...Got 2 warcasters, 4 Warjacks, a full squad of Man o\'wars and the Widowmakers squad.

Now if i can just get the energy to paint them.

We ( my husband and I ) have looked at warmachine, we only hesitate to buy because of the sheer mass of naked mini\'s we have right now, can\'t start another army until I get more of what we have painted. Maybe just a fig or two...:]

Don\'t hesitate too much! It\'s a great game.

Also, one of the things that I like about it is that you don\'t need a horde of models to play. Forces tend to be fairly small, which means that you can spend more time painting nicely and still get to play.

If you get one of the box sets (about $40 US), you can start playing. Another couple of blisters, and you\'ve got a 500 point army, which is good for a quick (but very enjoyable) game.

Cool thing is that the starter boxes contain a set of basic rules, too, so you don\'t have to buy the book initially (though I highly recommend it!), and you can get a feel for the game without investing too much. If you don\'t like the game, then you still have some pretty nice models.

i have tons of Cygnar lead but hahaha...none painted so far...next on my list will be either Cryx or Khador...
