hey CMON...

i\'ve put a few more examples of my studio work for Privateer Press back in the day...

it\'s nice to be able to display units at a decent size with the new magnify function in the gallery...

first up is the Gorten starter, which was a lot of fun:

I keep forgetting the magnify button is there. They need to make that button bigger. I think they look great! I am a big fan of your cryx minis :)

the graphic novel/comicbook style is something that i have worked very hard to develop over the last 5 years...
it\'s hard to find a balance that will please people, when we are so used to seein\' beautifully smooth blends and Old Master influences in minis these days...
my experiments with pure paints out the pot, and layered application, can result in a harsh transition...
this is really noticable under the shark mouth on Gorten\'s Driller...
the transition between the two grey tones is a bit sudden, but that\'s how we learn...
mistakes teach lessons so much better than success...
