Warmachine tourney extra

Has the Warmachine brand been built enough yet over here?
I\'m not aware of anyone in my area who actually plays, lots of people who are interested but IMHO it\'ll be difficult to get people to suffer the expense for a game they\'re not yet very familiar with.
I\'d love to start actually playing Warmachine, but i\'m not likely to start that at a tourney...

There are a lot of WarMachine players over here in Blighty. There\'s just no scene yet like there is with GW.
That\'s why I\'m trying to get something different going on with the tourney. Make it more a \'meet\' where you get rewards not so much for winning but for best modded army, best player and blingest Jack.
I\'m hoping that people will come but it\'s always hard to tell where people are involved.
I\'m going to be launching my site in a few days (I\'ve been saying that for about two weeks now) which will hopefully get people started with playing WarMachine in little groups and sending me the results to see where they are overall.
It\'s not as good a game as 40k (imho) but it\'s a great fun game and is a nice little hobby.
Why don\'t you get involved alleycat?

Wrong side of the pond BUT I am sending my mojo and juju to make all your jacks run faster and meaner though. Just got my own prime book today- I am hooked. I am even strongly considering getting a custom paintjob on some Khador boys from Jarrett who is in my home town.

Well, i\'m picking up my copy of Prime in the week, going down to London and can grab it off of my old housemate who i lent it to.
My current plan is that once my starter Khador force is painted, i may paint up a Cyngar one so i can introduce peoples to the game itself... Anyone know if Privateer have Pressgangers in the UK.
@Stevie, yeah let me know when the site is up. I\'ve fair amount of free time at the moment so may well be up for fun stuff.

I think that\'s a catchy name for the Mega Jack section.
So, if there\'s anyone in the UK who thinks they can build a Bling Jack with that WOW factor. Start building.

I just have an image of a jack with gold medalions and big rings that spell out J.A.C.K. on each finger.
You\'ll have to add a mouth just to make a gold tooth.

I just wanted something different for a WM tourney than you normally see at such events. And I\'m really not a fan of Q&A.
I am a fan of modified cars though so I thought I\'d try modified Jacks.

I think it\'s a great idea. Stuff like this will help to establish WM as a brand in the UK.
Once the shop\'s open I\'ll be opening a gaming club too, and WM will feature strongly in that.
I\'ve lost some interest in 40k from a playing perspective and I honestly think WM is everything 40k should be but isn\'t.

Tell you what, since you\'re already my favourite forum member with a shop and a darth vader helmet.
How do you fancy I send you some new scenarios before they\'re put up on the site so that you\'re club can BatRep them for us. (It looks as though you\'re part of the site now so I might as well include you in site emails)
