I like the bottom picture much better. Never been a fan of people photoshopping in backgrounds, or other special effects.
That being said, well done!

Chiming in with the others - the photoshopped background is a little jarring and distracts from the awesomeness of the mini! The last image is best and the mini looks great.

I agree with the others on the background but I figure that's beating a dead horse at this point. I like the colors and the overall pose of the piece. The one constructive criticism I'd have is the cape. A space that large is just begging for some kind of detailing or freehand (at least some type of trim effect). Otherwise, awesome!
