I was tested a while ago and my body contains high amounts of a metal called antimone. When under stress or under nourished the body cant handle this contamination and the skin breaks out in an angry way.
This metal is found in paint. I never found out officially if it is the paint i use but i think it's obvious.
I'm still a brush licker.

Antimone used to be part of the mix that made up the lead models that GW used to sell. This was before they got rid of the lead content and moved onto a new, safer alloy that they could sell all over the world - some countries don't allow the import of lead based products.

So the antimone may be from the paint or it may be lingering if you worked on a lot of early GW figures. I would have thought that the body would have got rid of that particular source by now, but then I'm not a biologist.

Heavy metals are a bit like Alice cooper and ozzy osborne they linger somewhat even when you think they should just give up.

Incidentally Antimony was sold as a reusable pill to purge the body. You swallowed a round metal ball that your body so disliked it made you puke and sh*t yourself hence purging you of course the sh*ting yourself was extra useful as you had to fish out the pill from it give it a wash and pop it back into the medicine jar for next time. The whole family could take turns using this wonder pill. From the same Victorian/ Edwardian era that brought you radium tonic to invigorate the elderly gentlemen and cocaine the cure all for catar seriously I joke not you could buy it from harrods!

I don't understand the whole licking the brush thing. Is it the saliva is a great wetting agent or that your tounge brings the brush to the right moisture? If it's the saliva why don't you just put a bunch of spit into a dropper bottle?

It helps to keep a point on the brush as well as moisten it. It's quicker to do that than wash/dry
