Hi!
This is my first w.i.p. :D
I hope I can get some good advices.

I painted it in a cold colourscheme like Avelorn suggested.

The face and the armour are almost done.
Does anyone have any suggestions about what to do with the comet on his forehead????

I think I need to go a little lighter on the cloak.

Looking very good nima!!

and welcome to the forums :)

The face is looking brill for the comet on his head id maybe just paint it pink (like a scar) or just define its edges i.e. give it a wash.

As for the armour try using some different colours into the mix maybe some gold or brass parts like the shoulder pads.

Very very nice work though, keep it up

My advice would\'ve been to cut it off, I never liked that part of the sculpt :p Painting it pink looks silly because it\'s flat and not really scar-like, so maybe just accentuate the edges like The Cadian said. That or paint it gold like the guys on Statgate ;)

Welcome to the forum though :D

Nice pictures Nima! Try to find the pre-setting corresponding to the lights you\'re using though, and then run it through a picture program and use the leveling tool.. hmm.. I\'ll explain tuesday! ;)

I like it much so far.. the comet on his forehead is difficult to choose a good colour on.. but I\'d probably make it the same metallic as the armour so that it ties together with it and doesn\'t distract too much. You can definately do small details in armour gold as suggested, it will complement the blue very well.

We\'ll discuss it tuesday.. ;)

Thanks for all good advices.:)
I have to think about what to do whit the comet.

I\'ve thought about doing a osl from the thing hanging on the chain, but I dont know wich colour it should be.
Any suggestions?
I think it might be hard doing fire osl on the blue cloak.

Great so far, I like the organic idea for the comet, maybe using flesh, dark red wash and purple, as if its a bruise :D

You know I was thinking about this figure last night (when I was laying in bed NOT sleeping....<sigh>) and I think you might consider doing it like an implant. You know how people these days put implants under the skin? Just a thought. I like the rest of the mini.

Looking great love the skin and like the armour already maybe leave the comet until rest of model finished might give you inspiration for co-ordination ask the CMON Nation right thats enough i really need to get out more!

Really nice work, I love the skin colour! Can\'t wait to see it painted. :)
Personally I\'d file the mark down a bit so it only sticks out a very little bit, and then paint it like a scar. Basically a bit paler skin than the rest of the face with a tiny bit of red/purple around the sides of it. At least that\'s what my own scarification looks like, so I figured it would be about right. ;)

I\'ll see you tomorrow, cheers! ^_^

INVASION

looks like the Swedes are really taking over CMON - welcome to you ALL :D.

Think you have done a real good job on the mini so far.
Face is perfect so I wouldn\'t go cutting or filing now, use some of the other idears. If you chose to go for the scar look up some pics on the web, and go for some kind of burnmark scar, they would easily look like this

Looking very nice! The skintones and metals are gorgeous :) For the scar, I\'d either define it or cut it off. Looking forward to seeing this guy finsihed, should be a very nice end result

Yeah, I\'d go with what the cadian said, build up the scar with really thin purple glazes, get it looking like a birth mark,( I\'d also of removed it my self.)
Is it me or are this guys arms too long in the sculpt?
looking good so far.

no, human arms end just slightly below he hip. Just where his would with hands attached.

I don\'t see why it was sculpted with such a prominent mark on the forrid, but painting it like a birthmark like others said should make it look sweet

update on warriorpriest

The things that have been finnished since last time are the fur the cloak and the things that look like purityseals

I havent really decided what to do with the scar. But I like the idea of a burnmark scar.

I must say that the cloak is absolutely awesome!

the only thing that is a bit unclear for me atm is... is the metallics finnished?? ???

personally I think the metal could use a bit more highlighting. maby some glazes.
that is the main issue atm

other than that... it looks good ^^

Looking really nice so far nima, I too like the blue cloak and also the fur. Nice stubble on him aswell ;)

About the metallics, I think that they look nice from the first pic, but they look a lot brighter in places in this one - I take it that that is due to the lighting in the picture?

Anyway, keep going with it

Cheers,
Tom

it\'s actually the arnor for the throat that aint quite good enough imo. I think you can work a bit more on that...

I suggest that you highlight just that part some more, so it is in the same level of brightness as the rest of the arnor. it\'s a bit dark atm :)
