Warzone & Chronopia minis - lead alloy or not?

Hi to everyone

I have a great deal of old minis from these two games (Warzone & Chronopia), and I would like to ask to anyone that knows for sure whether they contain any lead or not.

I have a couple of unopened blisters and boxes, and there is no warning about lead etc, but maybe they just didn't bother, if you look at the minis, most of them are dark and soft, I 'd say there's a good chance they 've got some lead but I can only guess.

There is a site still selling them (http://www.princeaugust.ie/target_games/) and it says there that they are completely lead free. But I don't know if this applies to the original minis as well, I think (but not sure) Prince August is recasting them, so I suppose nowdays it's normal to cast with a lead - free alloy.

Anyway, thanks for any information

I think its fairly safe to say that they will either be Lead or have a High Lead content.

I only have one Warzone Mini, as they weren't very well represented round here, and that I picked up late 90's and it's both heavy and quite soft.

I also have a load of Warzone and Chronopia minis and I can almost guarentee that they have a high lead content. The original minis were made by Target Games before they went bust. It's only surprisingly recently that the majority of minis have become lead-free.

I'm surprised more of us older collectors aren't suffering from a bit of lead poisoning, which among other things, causes one to forget things.
