Just out of curiosity....

I\'m just wondering if CMoN could ever reach \"critical mass\". I pose this question to the more technologically inclined than myself. The site continues to grow by leaps and bounds, yet it seems that Chern has little to do with it anymore.
To my understanding couldn\'t the site eventually get to big for it\'s host? Is that how it works? Maybe I\'m just being paranoid, but I really enjoy this site and much like the rest of you would hate to lose it.
So tech-minded folks, what\'s the deal? Am I concerned for no reason, or is it a possiblity???

actually a little horror story for you guys before we get back on topic. decieded to uninstall kazaa lite yesterday as i have resurrection and i don\'t want 2. did that and then when i tried to access the shared folder it said that i couldn\'t. i have a LOT of porn and music there. i\'m not oging to lie - i cried a little :~(. thankfully, i hadn\'t lost it, it was just a little problem. but it shook me to my very core!

Yes and no. The site could generate too much traffic, but I am not too concerned about drive space. Of course I have no technical information about the CMON hosting service.... at the moment, I wouldn\'t hold my breath for an imploding CMON

Ah, the sick feeling of lost files (pornographic or otherwise). Lovely. I lost a bunch of stuff moving a hard drive to my new system a while ago - fortunately nothing critical. It was a disturbing feeling when I realized all my data was corrupted (I\'d unknowingly used a )magnetic screwdriver to remove and insert the drive...)

Incidentally, with all the wanking you guys seem to do, aren\'t your arms too tired to paint?
