Might get it finished in time to catch the train on Friday.

EDIT

Painting from 09:00-18:00 daily at the moment.
Had to drop one of the busts I was doing as there's a fault in the cast.
Not huge, but too big to strip, fix and re-paint in time.
Pity as it's a nice piece.

Oh and I hate Araldite!

Having been awarded a Commended a Euro-Militaire, and being a show off tart, I was going to blutac the pin badge to the figure.
But Ispotted something in my local Ryman Stationary suppliers, A9 sized notice plates.

So a Baldrick type cunning plan came into being.
Four display plates purchased later, here's the results.
Take the Award badges, measure the pin of said badges (1.2mm).
Insert 1.2mm drill into pinvice and finding centre point by placing badge at best location, drill away.
Final result Four neat displays, now awaiting name plates for the years from Name-it-plates.
(In order; 2011 = Bronze, 2013=Bronze, 2014 = Commended, 2016 = Commended)

Due to an injury/damage to my left elbow earlier this year, I've had to adjust and reorganise my painting desk with some elbow supports.
Intended for supporting the wrist and a mouse they are a bit bigger than I expected but do the job nicely.

Your show-off stands are good looking. Excellent idea.
I wonder if those elbow rests might help steady the hands of many of us, too.
You are a practical man, DR.

Mike how the hell do you paint that massive titan in such a small area?
One bit at a time Lee, just one bit at a time.

SaintToad, I've a mindset which is geared towards finding solutions. Some of those solutions can be very Heath Robinson at times.

Lee, Yes.
I bought some "Gorilla Glue" brand Araldite and it's working as well as its Wood Glue compatriot.
Very strong, mix for 30 seconds, apply, after 5 mins it starts to cure, left overnight it's as solid as Dwayne Johnston's bicep.

DR, the various pieces are looking incredible. The assembled model is going to be mind-blowing! It looks like holiday china: fancy!
