Ways to misspell my name...

I\'m just starting this topic out of frustration at my painting that\'s not going well right now and the fact people cannot spell my name right.

It\'s simple you take my name: Chris and add +py= Chrispy

Or, you could take the verb \"Crispy\" like a candy bar, and add +h for \"Chrispy\"

Both of these come from te phonetic pronucitation of my name, that being Chris P. Swan. However, some people can\'t seem to get this, even when it\'s right there in front of them. Here\'s how my name\'s been misspelled in the past:

Chirpy
Crispy
Chrispie
Crispe
Cripy
Crisp
Chrspy
Soggy (yeah, you know who you are...)

If you care to add any to the list, feel free to do so. I\'m not expecting any kind of enlighting conversation on this post...

Say, it is interesting that you brought this up Kris.... You see, I tend to notice that people have a 50% chance of correctly spelling the word \"Rogue\". I have know idea why the other 50% of the time they are speaking french and talking about somethign red.... I guess that is why I called my red thief lady the \"Rouge Rogue\"...

Well at least their jaws don\'t drop like when I tell them Mengu *is* my real name. (You can gues I get some interesting spellings on that such as Mango .)

Someone actually presumed I took my screen name after the Reaper Miniature Mangu Timur, and misspelled it. I\'m of the opinion it is actually Reaper who misspelled *my* name... lol

I also went to school with a guy who was genuinely called Michael Hunt. Sad what some people do to kids.

PS Hope your current painting slump is over soon. I\'m in the pit of doom myself at the moment. I so desperately want to paint, but so far all I manage is to sit at the desk and stare blankly at my figures, I then find \'lots\' of time to wander online around CMON etc.......I just want to paint dammit!!

Duno if You did this on purpose but that actually sound like a birds name in french, the rouge gorge

Could be worse - The company I work for regularily mispells my name - It wouldnt be so bad except I\'ve worked there for 6 years and they misspell it on my Years of Service Certificates. lol
