WD Painting Galadhrim Armor article

Hey, WD has an article in WD 275 for painting the armor on the wood elves like in the two towers movie at helms deep. It was a great looking finish, and I can\'t find my issue, couldn\'t find the article on the GW site. I can\'t replicate the look by eyeball, so can anyone help? Anyone remember how to do it? Anyone wanna hazard a good guess?

275 (US) is one of my favorite issues. It launched Khemri, one of my favorite Fantasy armies; it had the IA Raven Guard, one of my favorite 40k armies; and it had photos from my first GD win when I was 16. Good issue

But sadly it has more Rohirrim than anything for LoTR.

WD 274 on the other hand featured Haldir\'s Elves in it. I scanned a copy of the 2-page article and if you PM me your email then I can send you a copy.

for the armour try this scott.
shining gold, mithril silver, water, 1-1-2 a couple of thin coats then black ink, chestnut ink 1-2 , thin it down with 4 parts water and keep layering it on untill you get the result you are looking for.

For those who don\'t want to wait:

Scale mail
1. Scorched Brown/Shining Gold basecoat
2. blend up to Shining Gold at the bottom
3. hilighted with Shining Gold/Mithril Silver
4. 25% Flesh Wash followed by super thin Chestnut glaze at the top

Armor
1. Boltgun/Brazen Brass basecoat
2. Equal part Shining Gold added to the basecoat for first hilight
3. 2:3 Black and Green Ink wash (only thinned 50% with water)
4. Burnished Gold
5. Mithril Silver
