Weather....

Hey, it\'s -44 celsius here in Saskatoon and I was just wondering what the weather is like in your own little area of the Earth.

It\'s cold enough here that you can take a wet towel, wring the water out, throw it in the air and it will land frozen solid. Neat trick!

about 0 celsius, cloudy! We have a decent amount of snow this year! :) The last two winters have been tragic with no snow on christmas eve... sad (fell in november and then melted away)! But this year I have hopes!

I\'m dreaming of a... ;)

Hey, its warmed up here! Now its -4°F (-20°C) instead of -7°F (-22°C)!

Can\'t do the towel trick, but that\'d be fun at least once in life. Saw the same thing on TV years back where the weatherman had a hot cup of coffee and threw that up in the air only to have it come down as iced coffee.

Keep warm!

It\'s 44F and raining non-stop right icky now, and it looks like we might have a couple inches of snow on the way. At 500 feet. In Southern California.

This sucks.

It\'s 4c here right now and raining! I\'m so happy! I bet there\'s even snow on the mountains now. I hope it gets cold and wet enough to get snow for xmas. Doesn\'t happen but 1 time in every 5-6 years but we are due.

Bah, the cold I can handle. It\'s the heat that drives me up the wall. I can always dress warmer for -30, but I can\'t walk around naked at +30. A/C is great but my many layers of \"Mother natures insulation\" makes me more suitable for the cold.

Definetaly. And i think there is something very special when the temperature drops below -30... it\'s like everything slows down and the sound is different.

I have to say though that it\'s very dry when it\'s that cold so it doesn\'t go through skin and bones that the humid cold can do in october, november.

Agreed. I also find that people seem to be in a better mood at -30 then at +30 for whatever reason. More considerate anyway. It\'s like \"We\'re all in this together\" kind of a pack mentallity maybe?
