Web banner links

Hi

In the process of trying to make my own website and need some advice please.

I have a links page to other painting sites but the problem is shortcuts. I\'ve copied and pasted other peoples banners but have to put the web address underneath. How do you make the banner the link as it was originally?

Any help is appreciated.

You need to make the banner image itself the link?

Like when you make a normal link with the <a href=websiteaddy.html></a> tag. But you put the tags around the <img> tags instead of around a piece of text.

What programme are you using to make the page? If you are using an editor like frontpage or dreamweaver you can probably just click on the image and then make it into a hyperlink in the same way as you would do with text.

Not sure i\'m making sense, damn hangovers.

Cheers Breadhead sussed it.

Selected the banner then looked around until I found a tab saying \'Insert hyperlink\'.

Worked a treat.:beer:
