Web Banner

Ok, so I\'ve just made a web banner using gimp. Its a sort of short animation. My question here is how do I get it to go in my signature on CMON so that when you click on it it links to my website? Here is the tutorial that I followed to make it if anyones interested:

EDIT PROFILE

Scroll down to the SIG area (near bottom)

Then use HTML code to point to your graphic banner, AND to link to your site.

For instance, here is my sig code:

Thanx but my main problem is that the banner is on my computer and I don\'t know how to get it onto the web for me to insert the HTML in my sig

You\'ll need to have the file hosted somewhere first.

Photobucket or the kind will allow you to do that. Or maybe even the site you are using will allow for file uploads.

I\'m not sure if this helps but it\'s saved in a gif format (I know I\'ve already got it as a pic but I so want to show off with an animation)

The banner appears to be a jpg not a gif.I doubt Flickr allows animated gifs, since it\'s mainly intended as a photo site. Try hosting it on Photobucket instead.

Yeah, this photo is jpg, but the animation that I was hoping to put is gif.

:duh: Duh! I just got that the thing on the left hand side is a paintbrush. To me it looked like a rocket with a flame coming out of the back lol

Its a rocket but its meant to sort of have the shape of a brush as well.

@junior elf : Why don\'t you put a link on your banner to your site? Also, half of the white zone in your animation stays empty. Why not use it to briefly describe what can be found on your site? Or have the link to your site written on it?
