Website updated finally!!!

Hi everyone,

This is just a quick heads up to say that I\'ve just spent the weekend updating my website. I used to have to rely on my fiancee to update it, but I\'ve just been on a Dreamweaver course and now have the skills to do it myself. So after 2 years, I\'ve finally got some new content!

New stuff includes finally completing my Pitch Black Kroothounds tutorial and new galleries full of dragons and wolfen. Further updates will no doubt happen soon. So keep an eye out.

Please let me know what you folks think and any suggestions for content. I don\'t yet have a links page, so thats one thing for a start...:D

Hi all,

Artwork will hopefully come at a later date as I need to get some images scanned. Other stuff I plan to update in the coming week include adding Painting Fluffy Wolfen as a tutorial and another one about creating a jungle display base. Also I plan to add some more pics to the lizardmen gallery, more dragons, add a misc fantasy section and add a pic or two to the Sci fi section.

I am also thinking of having a gallery of plushies as well. Its a bit OT, but another obsession of mine. :D

Anyway, those of you who have websites, I\'d appreciate it if you could add a link to my site if appropriate!

Hi Kat,

Jusst looking through your gallery, and I just wanted to say tat there were two that thought were particularly good; the WOTC black dragon and the Wolfen grave guardian. I also liked the Takhisis dragon (my friend has this unpainted, and i\'m going to try and convince him to let me paint it), but the ones above I thought were fantastic!

Well done for having painted all those.

thanks for the comments! Takhisis, I painted some time ago and she\'s not as well painted as the other two, which are more recent.

hey Kat! good to see an update! especially as i now have all those wolfen pics in one place to reference for my devourers! ;)

Just one thing, where do you get your woodland scenics stuff from?

I get my woodland scenics products from a local model railway store here in Norwich. I\'m sure that you can get them online though. Just do a search under google.

Amber Dragon

I took a look at your Amber Dragon. That is a very cool paint job. To me, the Amber is what a dragon should look like. It is very well-balanced, nicely proportioned, fantastic pose.

Too bad the base is so darn small. You absolutely have to put it on a bigger base if you don\'t want it constantly nose-diving on you.

The flame-red lightened to yellow-orange layered scale-by-scale must have taken forever. It looks great!

Thanks! It did take a while. I ended up gluing it to a piece of slate to keep it nicely balanced. If I were to paint this one again, I\'d probably lighten the belly and change the black bits to an off-white colour, but overall I\'m happy withe the way it came out.. ;)

Nice site!

Hey Kat,

Nice site. Well layed out and easy to get around, very important. Only one very small suggestion, reverse the order of your news, most recent on top, that\'s the standard for web design and makes it easier to find out what is new. :)

I\'m getting to the stage now, where I\'m thinking about registering a proper domain name for my site. What do you all think about the current title \"Kat\'s Korner\"? If you can think of any other names that sum up the content of the site that are better, then please let me know..

Kat\'s Hoard is an interesting idea. I\'ve just done a banner with the current name which I\'m putting up on the pages atm. Not all the pics in the banner are up on ths site yet, so its a little sneak peak too ;) Let me know what you think, so far its just on the home page...
