<p>Hello, and thanks for looking at my blog.</p> <p>Let me tell you a bit about myself. At the time of writing, I'm a 24 year old living in the North Midlands, England.</p> <p>I started collecting and playing Warhammer 40,000 when I was 9 or 10. Back then my painting and modeling skills were absolutely awful. I had a collection of Space Orks based the Warhammer 40,000 second edition box set, and built up around it. I knew nothing about good painting, the plastic models were twisted away from the sprues, and glued together without even considering how they going to be painted.</p> <p>I stopped the hobby some time after. I must have been 13 or so. The models were becoming too expensive, and being the age that people try to become more popular, I left a slightly nerdy hobby behind.</p> <p>I then realised how silly I was and on my 22nd birthday, I bought the Lord of the Rings box set. I decided that I would make sure that I painted all the models, and tried to do them properly. I then decided that I would try and build a couple of decently painted army, so bought the Wahammer and Warhammer 40,000 box sets.</p> <p>I painted the Lord of the Rings set and finished them about a month or two ago. I've started on the Warhammer 40,000 models, and that is where I'm up to.</p> <p>I plan on taking photos of all my finished models and uploading them here. I would like any feedback that people are will to give. I doubt I will produce anything groundbreaking. My current projects are already looking a bit poor, but I'm hoping to see some progress and improvements in my technique and finished quality.</p> <p>Thanks again for looking.</p>
