Work, 2 children (one of them very very new) and more work has slowed my painting output to virtually nil this year,as i want to start playing the game before i'm 40 (only 32 at the mo) I think I better start on an army.
So I intend to try to keep this updated. First the rather crappy phone pic of the first squad prior to paint.

Grey undercoat and (all VMA colours)
Hull Red

I really like painting table WIP shots, even taken with camera phones. I take a few snaps for friends with my phone and the ease of taking them when your time is limited is a fair tradeoff for trading some pics around among yourselves to keep each other enthused and motivated.

I like your setup here with the shelves behind your cutting mat. The back of my desk is just loaded out with tons of paints and tubes and jars. I could do with getting them racked up so they are easier to see and sort through like you have here.

Grab 20 minutes at a time when you can. It's surprising how it all adds up. Good luck.

Keep it up! Getting an army together is hard going at times but worth it in the long run. I'm fortunate as i can paint pretty much from the moment i step through the door until bed time. However i still like to grab an hours painting at work. I can batch paint a few models every week like that plus whatever i do evenings and weekends and the model count soon adds up.

Dont have too much on your desk at one time either. A mate of mine has a massive Ork army he wants to paint and everytime he looks at the sheer number of models to do he hides away sobbing (not quite but almost ;) ). Keep a squad out at a time. Put the rest away until needed. I presume you're going Blood Angels? Good man! Cant wait to see what you paint. I know Blood Angels send a shiver down the spine of many armies.....especially Nurgle chaos armies.....isnt that right Scott? ;)

My table is pretty disorganised. The dining table is just covered with a cutting mat, brushes and paint. I could do with a rig like that but i'm naturally disorganised. It may ruin my mojo ;)
