Hi guys, I'm Lady Maethoretho (Enni) and I've just found your website. I started painting about 7 years ago with Neil Green (the 'Eavy Metal guy) but I stopped to study photograpy. I got back into the hobby through Games Workshop but soon discovered other models too. I'm trying to set up a commission painting business so any advice you have will be greatly appreciated. I have had some successful commissions and Ebay sales already, and I also have a commission to paint Studio McVey's Y'sidra which I'm really looking forward to.

If you guys could help me out with the whole Ebay thing here, I'd really appreciate it, I don't want to step on any toes (not until I've been here a while, anyway!)

I have started using the Forgeworld weathering powders, so if you have any tips and tricks I'm all ears :)

Oh yeah, I really am a girl, too, not just a 40 year old man in his mother's basement living a rich fantasy life. Two 'X' chromosomes and everything :jump:

Welcome back to the hobby! Can't give you any advice on commission and ebay sales as I have yuet to get into that but I wish you luck.

welcome, always good to have more female and uk based painters!

as for the powders, turps works well setting them. assuming they behave like mig pigments and pastel pigments, the colour goes VERY harsh to start with (which can be scary) but you can use a brush to tone it down

now post some pics, we want to see what you can do!

lol with an attitude like that, you shall go far!!! flattery will get you anything on this site! although may not work so well with the other women, chocolate will suffice, i'm sure (dragonsreach accepts either)

Don't believe everything you read about me, not ALL of it is true, but flattery ...Yes, chocolate...Yes. I'm also open to bribery, no reasonable offer refused.

A slight warning about the others:-
Freakinacage is a young, good looking, single fella and a serious arachnaphobic. (We need to get him "Set up")
Squighunter is only 16(ish) and has scared a few women by pretending otherwise, don't be fooled by his protestations of anything otherwise.
Supervike is widely regarded as innocent.......but only the court says he's "Not Guilty!"
Avelorn is a fella but pretty enough to warrant a double take.
generulpoleaxe is as twisted as me, and that's saying a lot.
War Griffon is a teddy bear.
Airhead ditto, with a fishing pole and sidearms.
Wiccanpony and Lizcam;- Ah where to begin, consider them as twin sisters by different mothers and you won't be far wrong. They are the mistresses of the Cmon basement and freakbar, chains, whips, leather fetishwear are considered De rigueur for them.

As for the others who Haunt the forums, well you'll learn as you go along.
