Venezuela ranked 25? It did not seem quite like that when I saw the slums of Carracas, and the rioting in the streets a couple of years back.
Finland is the 6th happiest place in the world, why then do they have one of the highest suicide rates in the world?
The Tusisians are probably glad to be happier than the Greek, it probably consoles them from the village massacres by extremist militants.
It\'s not a PhD that this imbecile should get, but a round the world ticket to see for himself instead of looking up statistics. His idea is interesting, but the map should be compiled by people with brains, not just the first statistics you pull off the internet.

I think it’s not based on money as on people\'s feeling. There is one country (I can\'t recall it now) that a friend of mine from Australia wanted to visit. They aren\'t as \"wealthy\" or \"advanced\" as the west. But they are still happy. I have come across places like that too. Thailand is the beast example. I have seen areas that we would consider slums and they were some of the nicest people. They never had a frown of a bad thing to say to me. Another example is my friend; Mustafa form Africa. He married an American teacher and is here with his wife in Korea. He gets the same bigotry and racism that I do from Koreans. We have ranted together about it. But he is one of the happiest people I have ever met. Hands down. Not focusing just on the negative doesn\'t make this study idiotic.
