I can\'t believe the events of yesterday. After a last minute decision to head off to Cambrige yesterday I got to Scotch Corner in the Midlands only to find out I was a ball hair away from some seriously bad mojo!

Bugger.jpg

The bolt holding the right steering arm to the hub completely sheared when I turned the wheel! Luckily it was in the parking lot and not on the road. It\'s my brothers car so he can fix itlol But,man, that was close!
Wierd thing is, I had a gut feeling I had to go at the last second. If I hadn\'t been there and done what I did checking the wheel I hate to think how it might have played out!
Anyone else had a crazy experience like this?

My first car was a Fiat 128 (about 1970 something) that I picked up for $300.00 (NZ money). It\'s front axle broke as I went around a corner on an open road at 95kph. I ended up rolling 3.5 times and ended upside down in a ditch facing the way I had been going.
Got out of that with a scratch on my hand! Oh the humanity!

Told my bro you guys liked his car, I couldn\'t see his face but he sounded well chuffed on the phone lol It\'s his true love.
Reverend, I believe metric bolts are mesured in standard ball hairs...still, thats not a lot at all :p

*Edit* maybe I shouldv\'e put this in submissions...It is a mini after all lol

I travelled about 1800 ks to visit my folks and the wishbone snapped 100m from there front door. Someone was watching out for me that day.

That sounds a bit like when my dad used to have a scooter, a kind of vespa thing. I dunno. But he just got on it, and I was just sitting looking out of my window, and he rode off, and literally as soon as he set off, he fell off the back. He wasn\'t hurt at all, so I just started laughing. That\'s fair, isn\'t it?
