Wet Palette or not ?

I like the Sta-wet palette and the sponges, but I had a similar experience pariah - standard baking paper works better for me than the official palette paper.

It\'s so dry here right now that I pretty much have to use a wet palette. Otherwise my mix starts to dry immediately and I get paint flecks from the edges.

I plan on introducing wet palettes to the folks taking my army painting class in a few weeks.

I want them to see how keeping the paint workable will increase their productivity.

I\'ll be doing the \'home made\' version but using food storage containers so they can cover them up and keep using the paints.

Personally I haven\'t been painting enough to make a wet palette worthwhile but I have some armies just waiting for me so I want to get into the habit as well.
