Wet Palette

@Koda: are you sure you didn't get wax paper? Like Chrome, I've never had greasy parchment paper.

When I switch to a new sheet for the palette, I get the sponge nice and damp and then just place the paper on the top. At first it'll curl up a bit, but after a few moments it'll lie flat.

It appears I did get one with a waxy surface.

I've taken this back and exchanged it for tracing paper. Couldn't find any non-stick baking paper.

Seems to work quite well, the surface is damp but not displacing water.

Sounds like you got the right stuff then. Let us know how it works for you and what you think about it.

I know when I switched to one it took a bit of time to adjust to it.
