What a way to start 2012....

Hi all

Thought I would break my CMON duck although I have been submitting pictures for a short while never ventured into the forum section.

Right well i was going to start my warmammoth as the first mini of the new year but sadly (for some.....not me) boobs won me over, which is not unusual.

Work so far is the skin and hair are finished

still need to do her bikini/thong-thing, boots, stockings, wings, base, and other minor apparel.

righteous work so far. The skin is so smooth and well blended. I have had my eye on this figure for a couple years now and may have to get it after seeing yours.

Excellent work! I painted this mini years ago and couldn't do it justice. I started another one a few years ago and am still fearful of all the skin. Seeing this is inspiring me to dig her back up.

@Milosh - Thanks pal, having seen a couple of your pieces I say go for it, I am sure you will do a cracking job on it.

@tomusannonymous - not sure how much of the shadows are due to poor lighting in the pictures

@terrynor - eyes.............

@StillLifeMiniatures - I have always been told by greater people than myself, practice, practice and then when you think you have it down....practice some more

As I spent the night screaming at the TV screen and a bunch of overpaid footballers being great big fairies I didn't get much painting done, I did however at the request of someone from another forum take some better lit pictures and from more angles so he could give better feedback.

I also did some work just before I went to sleep on the plinth she is squatting on, did it a weathered marble I will pop up a picture after work today if i get a chance.

Couple of quick photos as I was rushing to the dentist this morning. But the wings are in situ, may add a few further highlights to the feathers when I have had a good look at it tonight.

Right tweeks all done and better pictures taken

All in all I am happy, theres a few things I wish I had done differently such as the eye shadow a difference colour, freehand on the gravestone, but i learn with every thing i paint.

really great looking work. The only tweak I can see is if you add some of the red of her boots into the wings to create harmony as a whole. Other than that she is a great looking figure.
